August 30th - September 3rd

Monday 8/30 - Chapter 3-3 Notes over the Middle Colonies.  Finish work from Friday. Back to school night.
Tuesday 8/31 - Chapter 3-4 Notes over the Southern Colonies. 
Wednesday 9/1 - Jeopardy review for Chapter 3 Test.
Thursday 9/2 - Chapter 3 Test over Colonial America.  Start colonial flyer activity.
Friday 9/3 - Finish colonial flyer.  Watch clips from "The New World" video.

August 23rd-27th

Here is a look at what we will be covering in American Studies this week.

Monday 23rd - Lamb and Wolf activity and debate. Distribute release forms to be signed.
Tuesday 24th - Introduction to Chapter 3 Colonial America.
Wednesday 25th - Chapter 3-1 Notes: Early English Settlements.
Thursday 26th - Chapter 3-2 Notes: New England Colonies.  Assign Chapter 3 Story Project (Pre-AP only).
Friday 27th - Quiz covering sections 1 and 2.  Chapter 3-1 and 3-2 Worksheet.

First Day of School

For the First Day of School we will be going over the Syllabus as well as some classroom procedures.  I hope everyone is excited to be back!
